A citizen has joined the revolt outside the Prime Minister’s Office despite having just left hospital, saying he has fractures in both jaws caused by officers of the Rapid Intervention Forces (FNSH).
Accompanied by his children, he told SYRI he is determined to stay at the protest, which has been going on for three days demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
“These scumbags can’t drive us away, our heart is here. We can do nothing else but defend our Albania. Let them beat us, let them kill us,” the citizen said, stressing that he will not withdraw from the protest even though he says he was physically assaulted. “Here is my 14-year-old daughter, we will die here, we will defend Albania,” he said outside the Prime Minister’s Office.
The protester: I’ve just left hospital and came here today with my children, no problem, Albania is ours. These scumbags can’t drive us away, our heart is here, we can do nothing else but defend our Albania. Let them beat us, let them kill us. Here is my 14-year-old daughter, we will die here, we will defend Albania. I have fractures in both jaws from the FNSH.
