A serious and suspicious incident has been reported by students living in the Student City (Qyteti Studenti) in Tirana, where several as yet unidentified people attacked one of the dormitory buildings.
According to footage and a report sent to the BalkanWeb newsroom by a student housed there, the individuals arrived unexpectedly and began smashing the building’s windows with hard objects.
“They came unexpectedly, they are not protesters. They smashed the windows and then screams were heard,” the student told BalkanWeb.
Fortunately, no injuries have been reported from this incident, but it has caused panic and great fear among the students who were inside the dormitory, while suspicions are being raised about a possible provocation during this tense night in the capital.
