The sister of Muhamet Skana, the young man who was beaten by police during the protest in front of the Prime Minister’s Office and ended up falling head-first to the ground, has reacted in a message, revealing that according to the medical diagnosis her brother has suffered a fracture of the spine from the blows and of the skull from being thrown forcefully to the ground.

She thanked all citizens for their support and messages, stressing that the family is standing by him and that their greatest prayer is for him to get through this situation.

“The pseudo-police officers who did this will be punished and we will pursue the case to the end,” says the young man’s sister, warning that the family will not back down from seeking justice.

First of all, thank you all for the support and the messages you have sent us. We are with him; I, mum, dad and our sister are standing by him. He has all our support and, in shaa Allah, he will pull through.
