The violent clashes and unprecedented scenes recorded during the protest on “Dëshmorët e Kombit” Boulevard have left citizens and protesters with serious injuries and physical wounds.

In one of the most shocking images published from the scene, an extreme case of blows against one of the young protesters is reported. The young man was seriously injured after being hit by no fewer than 7 rubber bullets fired by police officers.

The many wounds caused by the rubber projectiles on the protester’s body testify to the high intensity and the extremely excessive use of force during the interventions to disperse the crowd.

The situation remains highly critical, while calls to stop the use of rubber-bullet weapons against citizens are becoming more urgent by the minute.
