The Special Prosecution Office (SPAK) has formally placed former Foreign Minister Olta Xhaçka under investigation on suspicion of corruption and money laundering.
The investigation concerns the same case in which her husband, businessman Artan Gaçi, is also involved.
Xhaçka appeared at SPAK’s offices on 14 October but made no statement to the media after leaving the institution. On the same day, her husband, Artan Gaçi, was also summoned to the Special Prosecution Office.
